Conferences > 2010 Conference
The 2010 SAAHE conference is hosted by the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand in collaboration with the Tshwane University of Technology and the Universities of Johannesburg, Limpopo, North West and Pretoria. It is the first year that the SAAHE conference is held outside of the Western Cape. We hope to follow on the illustrious record of the Western Cape region who these past two years have hosted truly outstanding National Conferences.
The conference theme is MAKING EDUCATION MATTER. Discussions will focus on the impact that good health science education is making on the delivery of an improved health care at the level of patient care. To this end we have gathered national experts as well as guests from the United Kingdom, United States, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The conference will provide a forum for engaging colleagues nationally and from the continent in discussions of what we do and how we do it, and most importantly what difference it makes. A wide range of topics will be raised in a variety of forums from pre-conference workshops on the 21 July 2010, in conference workshops, plenary talks, morning Cafe conversations and most importantly presentation of work from the educators in the health science professions.
We look forward to welcoming you here.
